Vehicle weight uprating
This kit may help with up-plating
Conversions, extra equipment and everyday essentials all add weight. Vehicle uprating, also known as up-plating, may increase the permitted maximum loaded weight of an eligible vehicle, giving you more usable payload within its approved limits.
Suspension support. An assessed weight increase.
Fitting semi-air suspension does not automatically increase your vehicle’s legal weight limits. Confirm eligibility and any required upgrades with a suitably qualified uprating specialist before purchasing a kit for this purpose.
More capacity, where approved
Uprating changes the approved maximum weight, not the vehicle’s actual weight. Weigh your vehicle in its normal travelling condition, including each axle, to understand your remaining payload.
Where semi-air can help
Semi-air suspension adds support to the original rear suspension and helps reduce sag under load. An uprating assessment will determine whether suspension upgrades are required and whether the chosen kit is suitable.
